What our practice material is, and what it is not.
1. Educational simulation
BA Mentorship is an educational service. The BA Lab, kits, articles and glossary help you practise business analysis through simulated projects. Completing them shows that you practised; it is not proof of work experience.
2. Fictional companies, people and data
Every company, person, product, dataset, API, ticket and document in our practice material is fictional. Any resemblance to a real organisation or person is unintended. Example figures are invented for practice and are not real market, tax, financial, medical or legal data.
3. Not professional advice
Nothing on this website is professional, financial, tax, legal, medical or career advice. Domain examples (banking, insurance, healthcare, finance operations and others) simplify real practices for learning and may not match any real regulation or organisation. Seek a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
4. No affiliation; trademarks
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by IIBA, PMI, IREB, Atlassian or Microsoft. Jira and Confluence are trademarks of Atlassian. Power BI is a trademark of Microsoft. ECBA, CCBA and CBAP are marks of IIBA; PMI-PBA is a mark of PMI; CPRE is a mark of IREB. These and other trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the topics we teach. Our Jira-style, Confluence-style and dashboard tools are simulations, not those products.
5. No certification or job guarantee
We do not issue professional certifications and we are not a certification body or an accredited training provider of any certification body. We do not guarantee any job, interview, promotion, salary or exam result.
6. AI feedback
AI review is generated by an AI model. It can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent, and it is not a human assessment. Use it as a second opinion alongside the automatic checks and your own judgement.
7. Accuracy and external links
