Terms of service

1. Who we are

BA Mentorship is run by Raghavendra N, an individual based in India, trading as BA Mentorship ("we", "us"). Website: bamentorship360.com. Email: support.bamentorship@gmail.com. WhatsApp: +91 78924 31258.

By creating an account, starting a free trial or buying a package, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Which purchases these terms cover

These terms apply to accounts and to purchases made through our US dollar checkout on or after the effective date shown above. Purchases made earlier, including purchases in Indian rupees, remain governed by the approved texts that applied when you bought, which are preserved unchanged on our policies page.

3. The service

BA Mentorship provides self-guided, simulated practice in business analysis: the online BA Lab (a fictional company project worked through in stages), downloadable learning kits, articles and a glossary. All companies, people and data in the practice material are fictional.

The service does not include live classes, individual coaching, human marking of your work, job placement or employment verification, unless a product page clearly states otherwise for a specific offer.

4. Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. Keep that account secure; activity under it is treated as yours.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy. (India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 treats anyone under 18 as a child.)
• An account and a package licence are for one person. Do not share sign-in access.
• Give accurate information and keep your email address current so we can reach you about your access.

5. Your licence

When you buy a package, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use its content for your own learning, interview preparation and personal professional development during your access period. You may keep and use kit files you legitimately downloaded under the same personal licence after your access period ends, unless the purchase is refunded or reversed. You may adapt the blank templates for your own work.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• share, resell, sublicense, publish or upload paid content, model answers, datasets or kits for others;
• let another person use your account, or create extra accounts to obtain more free trials;
• scrape, bulk-download or copy the service by automated means, or try to get around access controls, limits or security;
• misuse AI review, for example by sending content unrelated to your Lab task, trying to make it produce harmful output, or attempting to exceed limits;
• submit other people's personal or confidential information, or anything unlawful, in your work or messages;
• present the simulated projects as real employment, client work or production experience.

7. Purchases and our payment provider

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record and reseller. This means Dodo Payments sells the package to you, takes the payment, issues the receipt or invoice, and calculates, collects and remits applicable taxes. Dodo Payments' own checkout terms and privacy notice also apply to the payment itself. We never receive your full card details.

Access is granted only after our server verifies the payment confirmation from Dodo Payments. A screenshot, payment reference or message does not verify a payment.

8. Prices and taxes

Prices are one-time amounts in US dollars: Starter $19, Experience $49, Core $99, Advanced $179. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout by our payment provider and shown before you pay. Your bank may convert the amount into your currency and charge its own fees. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a purchase already made.

9. Access period, expiry and no automatic renewal

• Each package gives you 12 calendar months of access to its hosted content, starting when your access is actually usable in your account (not when you create an account or when a payment is claimed). A later sign-in does not restart it.
• After the access period ends you have 30 days to sign in and export the work you wrote. Paid learning content is not available during those 30 days.
• There is no automatic renewal. We will not charge you again unless you make a new purchase.
• Upgrade checkout is currently unavailable. Contact us before buying a higher package.

10. Free trial

The free trial lasts 7 days from when you start it, includes Lab stages 0 to 3 in one domain, and needs no card. There is one trial per Google account and it cannot be restarted. The domain you choose in the trial becomes the domain of a later single-domain package. We may change or end the trial offer for people who have not yet started it.

11. Refunds

Refunds for purchases under these terms follow our refund policy, which also explains rights you have under the law.

12. Availability and maintenance

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and outages caused by our hosting or other providers can happen. If a problem stops you using paid content for a significant time, contact us and we will look for a fair remedy, such as extending your access.

13. Changes to content

We may correct, improve or reorganise content. We will not materially reduce the main features of a package you have bought during your access period. If we ever must, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy, which may include a partial refund.

14. Intellectual property and your work

The service, its content, the fictional scenarios and the software belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

You own the work you write in the Lab. You give us permission to store, process and display it to you, and to send it to the AI review provider when you ask for AI review, only to provide the service. We do not publish your work.

15. AI review

AI review is optional and may be limited or switched off. Feedback is generated by an AI model and can be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent; it is not a human assessment. Do not include personal or confidential information in work you send for AI review.

16. No certification or job guarantee

We do not issue professional certifications and we are not affiliated with any certification body. We do not guarantee a job, interview, promotion, salary or exam result.

17. Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of income, opportunity or data you could have backed up. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Responsibility for misuse

If you breach section 6 (for example by reselling paid content), you are responsible for the reasonable losses and costs that breach directly causes us. This does not apply where we caused the problem, and it does not reduce your rights as a consumer.

19. Ending or suspending access

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms (for example by sharing or reselling content), after telling you why where it is safe to do so. If we end access without a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of your access period.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have jurisdiction, subject to the next section. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly by email.

21. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live, including the right to bring a claim in the courts of your home country where that law allows it.

22. Complaints and grievances

Email complaints to support.bamentorship@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. Our Grievance Officer is Raghavendra N; see the privacy notice.

23. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version, effective date and last-updated date at the top will change. Changes apply to purchases made after the new version takes effect; a purchase you already made keeps the terms that applied when you bought, unless a change is required by law or is only in your favour.
