HOW BA MENTORSHIP WORKS · FREE GUIDED DEMO

See the evidence.
Make a decision.
Explain your thinking.

A short fictional banking example shows the learning loop: investigate, attempt, compare and revise. Then explore the free practice workspace yourself.

No account or payment needed. Self-guided practice, not live coaching or human marking.

01 / INVESTIGATE · FICTIONAL EXAMPLE

One customer. Two loan applications.

Operations reports duplicate applications. Before recommending a fix, separate the observation from your hypothesis.

Customer report

“The confirmation did not appear, so I pressed Submit again.”

Submission history

Two requests were recorded five seconds apart for the same customer and loan amount.

What is still unknown?

Were these retries of one intended application? Was the confirmation delayed? What should happen on a retry?

02 / ATTEMPT

What would you do next as the Business Analyst?

Choose a next step to see authored feedback. You can try another choice.

03 / Compare with a worked requirement and test

Proposed requirement: When a customer retries submission of the same intended application, preserve one application and show its current status. Confirm how a retry is identified and how long that rule applies with the relevant stakeholders.

Example acceptance test: Given one application has been accepted, when the same submission is retried within the agreed retry window, then no second application is created and the existing application reference is returned.

Challenge the answer: How should the system distinguish a retry from a genuinely new application? What happens if the first response is lost? These details need clarification before implementation.

04 / See how to explain this in an interview

“In a simulated banking project, I investigated duplicate submissions by comparing a customer report with request history. I proposed retry behaviour, made the open assumptions visible, and described an acceptance test. I would confirm the retry window and application identity with stakeholders before treating the requirement as agreed.”

This is a practice explanation, not a claim of real employment or client delivery.

This small example uses authored feedback. It does not grade your competence or save learner progress. Refreshing clears your choice. With JavaScript unavailable, the evidence and expandable worked examples remain readable.

IF YOU CHOOSE A PAID EDITION

From purchase to your learning workspace.

  1. Compare and sign in. Choose an available edition and use the Google account you want associated with your purchase. Higher editions are cumulative; Starter does not include SQL or BI.
  2. Check your order before paying. Use the confirmed price and original owner QR shown in checkout. Verify the recipient in your trusted UPI app. Do not pay if the recipient name is different.
  3. Submit a payment claim. A reference or screenshot is only a claim. The owner must independently check actual incoming funds. Access is not instant or automatically granted by scanning.
  4. Check delivery in Orders. After verification and delivery, your purchased kit and correct hosted entitlement become available with an in-account notice. The 12-month term starts on usable bundled delivery; the exact expiry appears in your account.

The bundle includes 12 months of hosted access, kit download availability and email support, followed by 30 days of export-only recovery for existing learner-authored work. No automatic renewal. Legitimately downloaded materials remain usable under the usage policy, subject to refund/licence terms.

Core and Advanced include Windows Power BI companions; native Windows validation remains pending. Review the edition disclosures before choosing.
